Salamandre, porcelaine de Limoges
Mr Chauvel has a passion for porcelain. He makes thimbles and pendants and decorates small dishes, cups, and table services manufactured in Haute-Vienne by member firms of the Limoges Porcelain Routes network. Located close to Saint-Etienne Cathedral, in the historic, tourist and pedestrian area of La Cité, the Salamandre studio invites visitors to discover real Limoges porcelain made in keeping with long-standing traditions. The Cité district is steeped in history and boasts some exceptional architecture near the Museum of Fine Arts, the botanical gardens of the Bishops’ Palace, the Maison de l’Email (House of Enamel) and the banks of the Vienne with their specially created footpaths.
