Porcelaine Faye (Lys Impérial)
An artisan family porcelain business with deep roots in the local area, specialising in fancy items: lamps, vases, sweet boxes and collection boxes. The company offers a tour of the workshop and a factory outlet. The free guided tour of the workshop describes the eight steps of the porcelain manufacturing process: paste, moulds, casting, removal from the mould, drying, trimming, first firing and glazing.
Each manufacturing step is explained through a specific demonstration. On site, there is a sales outlet where you can buy and take home unique, bespoke pieces of porcelain, gifts and promotional items.
Open every weekday from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm without interruption.
Free guided tour.
The company regularly works with Claude Bromet, who creates the forms (moulds). He has worked for clients including Daum. A film pays tribute to his work.
